I decided to start this blog on 4.11.14 in order to share the cool things I'm doing, making, and seeing etc.
I am a single mother with one son in the small coastal town of Machias in Washington County, Maine. Although I have done a good bit of traveling in my life, we settled here. My son and I try to do as much as possible the natural way, from the way we eat to the things we use everyday. I even have plans to start making our own soaps.
In my spare time I like to craft, sew, explore new places, crochet, paint, and take lots of pictures of nature.We visit Roque Bluffs State Park, Jasper's Beach in Machiasport, as well as a few secret spots. We spend a ton of time looking for sea glass and pottery. I have a huge collection. I want to turn our treasures into pieces of beautiful jewelry.
I am currently trying my hand at selling my art on Etsy. My dream is to be my own boss and expand to having a mobile shop as well. It's very exciting, fingers-crossed!
